Justice Bharat Parashar
- Born on August 15, 1967
- B.A. (Hons) Mathematics from Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
- LLB from Campus Law Centre and LLM from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
- Joined Delhi Judicial Service in the year 1992 and got promoted to Delhi Higher Judicial Service in January 2006.
- Has presided over Courts on both Civil Side as well as Criminal Side.
- Has worked as Joint Registrar (Rules), High Court of Delhi for more than three years.
- Was appointed as Special CBI Judge by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to exclusively try Coal Block Allocation cases from 2014 till 2021.
- Has worked as Member Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority and thereafter as Principal Secretary Law Justice and Legislative Affairs, Government of NCT of Delhi.
- Was twice posted as Member Secretary, National Legal Services Authority and twice as Secretary General, Supreme Court of India.
- As Secretary General, was also part of Governing Council, National Judicial Academy, Bhopal.
- Has worked as Chairman, Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, an institution set up by Government of NCT of Delhi for promoting ‘Alternate Dispute Resolution Mechanism’ including pre-litigation mediation/ community mediation.
- A Senior Trainer with the Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee, Supreme Court of India, and has conducted various 40hrs training programs on the ‘Concept and Techniques of Mediation’ in various States across India.
- Has been a regular Faculty at Delhi Judicial Academy and at ‘Union Territory Civil Services Institute, Delhi’
- Has attended many national and international conferences.
- Took oath as an Additional Judge, High Court of Delhi on September 21, 2026.
