Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anil Kshetarpal hails from Kurukshetra and was born on 19.11.1964. His father, Sh. S.P. Kshetarpal was a practising Advocate at Kurukshetra. In 1987, after completing LL.B., he enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. He started practice at Kurukshetra in 1987. Thereafter, in May 1988, he shifted his practice to the Punjab and Haryana High Court and joined the office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice V.K. Bali, Chief Justice (Retd.), who was then a practising Senior Advocate. In 1991, he started his independent practice on the civil and constitutional side. In January 2014, he was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. On 10.07.2017, he was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, and later appointed as a Permanent Judge on 3.12.2018. He was transferred as Judge, High Court of Delhi and took oath of office on 21.07.2025.
